Russian Blue Shadow
This line is being tightly bred to ensure the purity of the line. It is closely supervised by Robin at DCR to maintain its integrity. The coat in this line appears lighter and my brown due to the shadow gene. The coat is significantly softer than my other lines and may be satin. The dumbos in this line have a butterfly effect or crease in the ear folding the top part back. I have noticed rats in this line appear to be more robust than my other lines as well. This line is not open to other breeders at Robin's request.
Russian Blue/Blue BeigeThis line has CBR's best temperament and has beautiful saucer eared dumbos. It will continue to be bred for the darkest Blue Beige rats with amazing personalities. Health of this line appears to be great but more generations of information is necessary before this line is ready for other breeders.
HairlessThis line is being bred to transition small patches of fuzz commonly found on hairless into thick patches of hair. While these rats still remain genetically hairless and resemble hairless rats they do have significant amounts of hair on them. This extra hair helps to regulate their metabolism, enable them to properly lactate, improve their health and extended their lifespan. If you are looking for a traditional hairless with little to no hair I suggest you find a different rattery. This line is still being improved upon and studied and is not ready for other breeders.
MinkThis line is new to CBR and has no pedigree. This line is being studied for color purposes and health is uncertain at this time. Therefore it is not ready for other breeders.
Siamese RexThe siamese gene popped up unexpectedly in one of my current lines in November of 2008. In December I went to adopt a rex and found that the breeder only bred siamese. This line is here by chance and will not be my primary breeding focus.
